Smarti Pants Cloth Diaper Giveaway

Smarti Pants sent me a diaper to review for you, my fabulous readers, and I've been very pleased with it! Advertised as the world's smallest one size fits all diaper, it's definitely very trim. And as it says, it's one size fits all so it will grow with your baby. It's roomy enough to fit older babies, but buttons down to be nice and small for your younger baby too. It also has snaps for closure which is a huge plus to me. I like velcro, but it tends to break down after consistent use and snaps seem to last a little longer. The insert also has great absorption! And best of all, the insert is made to slip in from either side, which means you can toss it in to the wash without having to separate the insert from the cover! This obviously makes laundry that much easier, and anything that makes laundry simple makes me very very happy. My other favorite feature is about the snaps around the waist. They are side by side and spread out in such a way that snapping them on a squirming baby is simple and more secure than snaps that stack top to bottom. They've clearly put a lot of thought in to making a diaper that is extremely easy to use. The colors are cute, and the price is decent ($14.95 retail.) If you're looking for a simple go to diaper, this would fit the bill!

Now for the fun part..wanna win one? The winner will get a diaper and insert and they'll get to choose their color! Here's how to enter:

Mandatory Entry:

  • Go to Smarti Pants and take a look around at the diaper features. Then come back and leave a comment telling me something you've learned. Be sure to leave your email address!

Additional Entries (you don't have to do all of them, but you do need to leave a comment for each one that you do or it won't count!):

This contest ends on 7/23. The winner will have 2 days to contact me back to claim their prize or I will have to pick a new winner!

I learned about the sleeve insert, no need to remove prior to wash, which means no pee on hands!

Wow, I had no idea that fabric softener forms a liquid-proof barrier on the diapers, and cause them to leak! Good to know!

They are smart for the environment and that's a plus as far as I'm concerned. Disposable diapers bad for the environment.

I like that they have leak guard and more so that they are waterproof! I have yet to try reusable diapers and am very excited to be able to if I win of course :)

I too am also surprised to learn about the sleeve insert! I never really mind sticking my hand in there, but it would be nice to have one less step

My favorite line from the website: " Instead of requiring 7,000 disposable diapers, the average baby needs only 24 reusable diapers, resulting in a net savings of nearly $3,000.00! " Awesome!

July 13, 2010 | Unregistered CommenterGina
