I am in love with all things baking now (which is funny because I am not a precise person by nature AND I can't eat wheat or rice, so I don't get to taste anything that I bake!), and my favorite cookbook that I've found is called The Art and Soul of Baking. I managed to stumble in to it by accident at the library and I'm in LOVE. So I asked for it for Mother's Day (I love my husband dearly, but gifts just aren't his thing..and neither is finding the best deal..soo...), and I had to be the one that tracked down the best price. A week or two ago, it was $16, then $15, and then back up to $16. Today, it's only $12.44 shipped with prime! I'm not sure how long that will last so I snatched it up while I could. If you're interested, I highly recommend getting it right now. It's a HUGE book, so I was thinking it was a steal at $15. It would easily cost $20 or more in store.

I made the yellow cake recipe (I did cupcakes) and I also used the cream cheese icing for my daughter's birthday. Everyone raved, and I have no choice but to believe them..Also, the Challah recipe I use is almost identical to the one they have in this book. It's also got great tips too. If you like to bake, this is a must have!
